I'm not sure how I missed this, but
Jacques Derrida is dead! He passed a couple weeks ago, apparently. I guess that I was too preoccupied by the death Superman to notice.
It's funny, the first time I studied Derrida I was under the impression that he had committed suicide long ago. It kinda cast a pale over what was for me a very distressing philosophy to begin with. I'm not sure if I ever recovered, to be honest.
